Classic mahjong is good in itself, but in Mahjong Dimensions Deluxe the developers decided to move away from the usual plane and add depth – literally. Now it’s not just a search for identical tiles, but a full-fledged three-dimensional puzzle where you have to twist and turn the playing field to find the right pairs.

How to play?

The rules are familiar to many: we look for two identical tiles, remove them from the field, but only if they are not blocked by neighbors. The main feature is that now the game structure is three-dimensional, and some of the tiles are hidden on the back side.

The controls are simple:

• Rotate the field – keys A and D.
• Select tiles – with the mouse.

At first it may seem that this complicates the task, but after a couple of minutes the excitement appears, and the hand itself reaches for the next move.

What awaits in the game?

• 36 levels with gradual complexity.
• Six themed worlds with new challenges.
• Special features – exploding, freezing the timer and giving extra time.

Important to know

There is a small minus – the game does not support screen resolution settings, and in full-screen mode on some monitors (especially widescreen ones) the upper and lower parts of the image may be cut off. The timer may disappear from view, which is not very convenient.

Also, online features are a bit lacking – the ability to compare results with friends or connect to Facebook would add additional interest.
